Aliases allow you to write customised little short-cuts that make your mIRC experience easier and possibly more fun.
Click on your Scripts Editor or go to TOOLS/SCRIPTS EDITOR OR Alt+R
it will popup the following window.
Pick a letter(s) to call your command in this case /id and /id2 have been used. Click OK when you're done.
To call you aliased command simply type /id in the chatbox.
